Lots and lots of fun things coming in the new year!

I've been a little 'preoccupied' the last few months, for good reason. But it's time to start focusing again on what I love most, my work!! And I thank ALL of you for your continued support and wonderful friendships.

I have lots of plans for Homespun from the Heart in '09 - some of which I hope to share very soon! In the meantime, I am celebrating my birthday with a sale... buy any epattern and get one free :) Just add one to your cart and email me the free one you'd like. NO limit on this sale - each pattern you buy, you get one free! This sale starts on 12/31 and ends on my birthday, 1/3.

I look forward to a new and exciting and CREATIVE 2009! Please check back soon!

Um yes it's DECEMBER :)

I can't believe it's this long since I've posted here. I started a family blog and that's kept me busy - but I still want to keep up with this one too :) OopS!

This week I started a 'cyber shopping week' special - free shipping within the U.S.! And a special pattern sale - you can check them all out here: http://www.homespunfromtheheart.com/

I've been adding new holiday dolls and goodies, I have so much in my head - just not enough time in the day. *sigh*

I'm working on a NEW line of dolls, I can't wait to get that design out of my head for you to see! It'll be coming very soon, I will wait to suprise you with the details.

We are doing great personally - Gabrielle is already 5 months old! She's such a cutie, a really great baby - I am so blessed. We went to Harrisburg this week to meet up with some friends and go to the PA CHristmas show. Here's a 'before' picture of her:

It took us 4 hours to get home due to an accident on route 78, ack! So the 'before' picture is as cute as it gets. haha!

Life is good - how'd I get so darn lucky???

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season this year!

September's here!

I love this time of year for the late summer/early fall weather in the Northeast. Altho I do pray the hurricanes calm down a bit.

Thought I'd show off a new picture of Gabrielle! She is 9 weeks old today and BLESS her heart, sleeping through the night now for a week. Whoohoo! Mommy gets her rest so she can work on more dollies ;) Here she is in my sewing room in her bouncy seat checking out me while I work... and the cat as she walks by!

I am working on a few new Christmas items, I hope to start showing them off in a few weeks. In the meantime I've got lots of fall/Halloween goodies left! Hop on over www.homespunfromtheheart.com to see!

Lititz Craft Show Update

I just wanted to post that I do plan to be at the Lititz Rotary Club Craft show in Lititz, PA on August 9th. The show is from 8am - 4pm (altho early birds are always welcome, we'll be there by 5am). I will be in the same spot as last year, on Main Street near Sturgis lane.

If you've never been to this show, its fantastic! There are hundreds of vendors all set up in the center of town, through the Lititz Springs Park and up Main Street. There are so many different crafts, something for everyone. Don't forget to stop by Wilbur's chocolate factory too :) (oh and feel free to bring some to my booth, hahaha!!)

If you come, please find me and say HELLO! My friend Megan is coming up from NC and will be selling her signs and fixins, www.americanprim.com and my sister is coming down to help me with the show. I've got lots and lots of BRAND new items, I've worked all winter and spring to build inventory just for this show.

Hope to see you there!

Peaceful Sunday Morning

I love Sunday mornings! I'm sitting quietly, sipping my coffee while the baby sleeps in her bassinet. It's so quiet - no cars going by this early, hubby is still sleeping too. The sun is just coming up such a firey red - it's going to be a superhot day here but we'll stay inside the AC and relax today.

One of our traditions for Sunday mornings is pancakes. My hubby is such a great cook (all meals!) and he likes to make pancakes after he comes home from church. He makes mine with chocolate chips, then he adds pecans for his. I look forward to sharing this tradition with our lil one when she is older and can eat food :)

Today I have some fun things to work on - I picked out a birth announcement on Etsy; so I'm working on a mailing list to figure out how many we need. Then I want to take some pictures of the baby for it; I have a few little things I want to do too.

I'm starting to feel the craft 'itch' - I miss it! I am glad my website is closed so I can enjoy some time off and rest (I sure do need it still). But I may go in my sewing room one day this week and poke around to work on something. I am looking forward to Lititz - which is only 3 weeks away! I'm so glad I have all my inventory ready for the show. Maybe I'll sneak in a few more things in the next few weeks, we'll see.

Enjoy your Sunday today!
